An aura isn’t always something you can explain. It might be the confidence someone carries into a room, the warmth they leave behind, or the feeling that lingers after an encounter. With Eternal Aura Eau de Parfum, Elizabeth Arden turns this intangible idea into fragrance, exploring how scent can become part of how we express ourselves and experience the world around us.
The fragrance was launched over afternoon tea at Ladurée in BGC, at an event that focused as much on the feelings a scent can stir as on the scent itself.
Classified as a floral amber fragrance, it opens with pink pepper and golden pear, bringing a bright, lightly spiced introduction. Magnolia, pink peony, and jasmine sambac form its floral heart, while an exclusive rose and ambrette co-distillation developed for Elizabeth Arden gives the scent a distinctive central accord. Sandalwood, tonka bean, and amber round out the fragrance with a warm, sensual finish. The progression from sparkling fruit and florals to deeper woody and amber notes gives Eternal Aura a multidimensional character, pairing a luminous floral profile with a more enveloping warmth.
A Legacy That Keeps Evolving
Elizabeth Arden’s story has always involved balancing its heritage with a willingness to evolve. Since Florence Nightingale Graham, better known as Elizabeth Arden, opened her first salon on Fifth Avenue in New York in 1910, the brand has continued to build on its foundations in beauty while introducing new approaches to skincare, cosmetics, and fragrance.
That blend of heritage and innovation was also reflected in the wider Elizabeth Arden experience, which brought the brand’s skincare icons into the conversation alongside its newest fragrance. At the event, guests also got to discover longtime favorites such as the Eight Hour Cream, the multitasking skin protectant that has been a staple of the brand since 1930; the Ceramide Capsules, formulated to support the skin’s moisture barrier; and the PREVAGE line, known for its advanced antioxidant skincare formulations featuring idebenone. Together, these collections offered a glimpse into the breadth of Elizabeth Arden’s beauty expertise, from established skincare favorites to continued innovation across its portfolio.
For Maxine Pampolina, Senior Product Executive of LUXASIA Philippines, this commitment to evolution is central to understanding the brand today. “Elizabeth Arden has been here for over 100 years, and we [have] stood the test of time through our constant innovations. We’re in a constant state of innovation. And [you also see that clearly] with our fragrances,” she said.

When Fragrance Meets Feeling
Developed in collaboration with International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF), Eternal Aura draws on the company’s Science of Wellness approach, which explores the relationship between fragrance and emotional responses.
Jeanelle De Leon, LUXASIA Training Executive, explained, “It was actually developed in collaboration with the IFF. So it brings together the art of perfumery and research into the relationship between scent and our emotions. Through the IFF’s Science of Wellness, they explore how a fragrance can actually affect our feelings and contribute to our sense of well-being.”
This perspective places fragrance within the broader experience of self-care. A perfume can be associated with a particular memory, become part of a morning routine, or serve as a sensory marker for a new chapter. With Eternal Aura, Elizabeth Arden builds on these connections by considering fragrance as more than a finishing touch, as it can also be a personal ritual shaped by how we want to feel.
At the launch, the idea came to life as a Bouquet of Auras: guests filled out flower-shaped cards answering questions about the moments their aura shines brightest. Each flower’s color represented different kinds of personal moments, from experiences of confidence and energy to proud achievements and memories worth reliving.
As the flowers accumulated, the bouquet became a colorful collection of individual reflections. The activity offered a more personal interpretation of the fragrance’s inspiration, highlighting how an aura can be shaped by the moments that make us feel most confident, fulfilled, and comfortable in our own skin.

Ultimately, Eternal Aura reflects Elizabeth Arden’s continued evolution while remaining rooted in the brand’s enduring approach to beauty. It also offers a fresh perspective on the role fragrance can play in everyday life, becoming part of a personal ritual that goes beyond how one smells to encompass how one feels. After all, a signature scent is not only about the impression it leaves on others, but also the feeling it evokes in the person wearing it.
