In perfumery, scent can be many things—a mood, a memory, a moment suspended in time. With its debut collection, Anino, a Philippine fragrance house, invites us into six subtle, expressive moods captured in scent. Each perfume is a standalone story, yet together they form a spectrum of contrasts–light and dark, stillness and motion, breath and pause.
Anino entered the local fragrance space with a clear point of view: scent as atmosphere rather than statement. The brand’s debut release is structured as a series of pairings—six fragrances grouped into three sets—each designed to explore opposing yet interconnected states. Instead of building around traditional scent categories, Anino works with more abstract cues: the sensation of water against skin, the tension between rest and restlessness, the shift between looking forward and looking back.
Seabed & Sigh—Calm and Release
Seabed captures the pull of sand beneath the tide with salty air and sea grapes mineral, evoking the feeling of the sea pressing gently against the skin. It has a weighty, immersive quality that draws you inward, like descending into water.
Sigh, its counterpart, softens the experience with hibiscus, summer tryst, and a light sea breeze, creating the soft and uplifting sensation of stepping out of the tide.

I Dreamed of Grace & Running in Place—Dream State Meets Insomnia
I Dreamed of Grace captures a dreamlike, calm state, with saccharine sweetness, lily of the valley lace, and the freshness of morning fog. It evokes gentle, reflective moments, like lingering in the soft stillness of early morning.
Running in Place, by contrast, channels insomnia and restless energy, with sharp citrus, spicy rum and vanilla incense, giving a sharp, intense sensation that mirrors the restless wakefulness of the night.

Countdown & Exposure—Future and Memory
Countdown is crisp and energetic, highlighted by spring water, cucumber urban sun, and lime electric that projects optimism and drive.
Exposure, in contrast, feels introspective and grounded, with white musk, earth cabin notes, and a soft forest haze that suggest memory and intimacy.
