Better With Aging Summit by Project Vanity
In a culture that glorifies youth, aging—especially for women—often comes with unrealistic pressures and outdated expectations. Beauty platform Project Vanity, founded by longtime beauty blogger Liz Lanuzo, is challenging this narrative as it marks its 17th anniversary with an empowering gathering focused on aging well. More than just a celebration, the event brings together inspiring women from various fields for candid discussions on confidence, reinvention, and finding joy at every stage of life. Featured speakers include model-actress Sarah Lahbati, media multi-hyphenate Myrza Sison, and model-turned-corporate leader Apples Aberin. Know more here.
Go Negosyo’s Women Summit
This one’s for the boss ladies: Go Negosyo’s Women Summit 2025 brought together powerhouse Filipinas for a day of inspiration, mentorship, and empowerment in business. Held on March 15 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay, the event welcomed nearly 2,000 women and featured insightful talks, one-on-one mentorship opportunities, and real success stories.
“The Philippines has so many opportunities for women entrepreneurs,” said Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion, highlighting that women lead more than half of the country’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). During the event, 15 outstanding women were honored with the Inspiring Filipina Entrepreneur Award, while Dr. Vicki Belo and the late Margarita Fores received the prestigious Woman of Legacy Award. Now in its 17th year, the summit continues to be a go-to space for Filipina entrepreneurs to connect, learn, and break boundaries in business.
She Shines Summit by Leading Ladies
In today’s world, having a supportive community offers invaluable benefits for mental well-being and career growth. It’s the emotional support we embrace from other women who have walked the same path and the genuine compassion that flows within a space of shared experiences. This is the true essence of womanhood—truly unfading and unwavering. We witness this bloom even more as women of all ages and backgrounds unite to discuss leadership, mentorship, and resilience.
Leading Ladies, a female-centric platform founded by game-changers Cat Ilacad, Rache Stern, and Rica Peralejo-Bonifacio, brings this vision to life with the She Shines Summit on March 29. This event gathers inspiring women like Jacqe Yuengtian-Gutierrez, Marj Maroket, Dani Barretto, and many more to discuss empowerment, share insights, and indulge in a little self-care. She Talks Asia Summit 2025
Now in its ninth year, the She Talks Asia Summit returned with a compelling message: Brave Over Perfect. Held on March 15 at The Globe Tower in Bonifacio Global City, the annual gathering challenged women to let go of impossible standards and embrace growth, resilience, and authenticity. Co-founders Lynn Pinugu, Iza Calzado, and Bianca Gonzalez welcomed this year’s co-chair Pia Wurtzbach, who set the tone with a candid reminder that showing up—flaws and all—is already an act of bravery.
Women took the stage in conversations that sparked real change, challenging expiration dates, redefining beauty on their own terms, and proving that strength comes in many forms. Hidilyn Diaz shared her journey of breaking barriers in a male-dominated space, proving that strength isn’t just physical. Belle Rodolfo and Anca Griffiths re-examined the rigid standards placed on women, redefining beauty beyond age and expectation, and shifting the focus to confidence, self-worth, and lasting well-being. Meanwhile, Stephanie Zubiri shared invaluable lessons on protecting one’s energy, Marla Garin-Alvarez highlighted why women’s leadership is essential at every level, and Anna Oposa shared how embracing progress over perfection shaped her approach to advocacy.
More than a conversation, She Talks Asia Summit 2025 was a call to action, reminding us that real success isn’t attaining perfection but being true to yourself. And with proceeds supporting the Mano Amiga Philippines scholarship fund, the movement continues ensuring that more women have the opportunity to shape their futures with confidence, courage, and purpose.
