Welcome to The Beauty Edit Honor Roll™️ 2025—a tribute to the moments, makers, and milestones that shaped beauty this past year. Themed The Beauty Edit Pop Awards, a.k.a. The Poppys, it’s our most exhaustive and dynamic edition yet—a winners’ lineup over two months in the making. Nominees were selected for achievements between October 2024 and September 2025, and winners were determined through votes from more than 200 editors, journalists, creators, founders, beauty executives, and industry insiders.

This year was an exciting time for the Philippine beauty scene, thanks in large part to the people shaping it—those creating relatable content, developing inclusive, game-changing products, and educating audiences about innovations and procedures worthy of your time and money. These industry superstars have become standouts in their own right, capturing our attention and driving conversations across the community. In this edition of The Beauty Edit Pop Awards, we honor the creators, educators, business owners, and artists whose work made a meaningful impact on their audiences and the local beauty landscape.

People’s Choice – Beauty Content Creator: Belle Rodolfo

When it comes to everyone’s favorite beauty creator, the people have spoken—and they chose Belle Rodolfo. Once a beauty editor, now a content creator, influencer, host, and even a billboard star (her TikTok Beauty Fest billboard moment was a dream come true this year, she shares), Belle lets us in on the real work behind the glam. Her TikTok and Instagram are a mix of practical beauty tips, morena-friendly recommendations, and the occasional hilarious sketches with her partner.

What sets her apart? Her candor, warmth, and unshakeable authenticity. Watching Belle feels like chatting with your big sister—the one who knows every product, every trick, every juicy beauty secret, and is always ready to spill. It’s no wonder her audience—and brands—are firmly in her corner.

Rising Star – Beauty Creator: Bianca Alecxis

We love a creator who spills her beauty secrets openly—and Bianca Alecxis does exactly that. A proud beauty nerd (and former magazine beauty editor), she embraces being delightfully extra, taking us along as she indulges in luxury products, treatments, and beauty rituals that feel like a peek into her dream routine. Her unapologetic honesty and confidence have earned her a loyal following, and while she likes to joke about being “expensive,” her content remains refreshingly relatable, insightful, and irresistibly fun to watch.

Breakout Beauty Creator: Jocelyn Yang

An audience can tell when a creator’s love for beauty is genuine, and that’s precisely how we feel about Jocelyn Yang. Her bubbly personality and effortless humor pair perfectly with her practical skincare and makeup advice, making her journey feel relatable from the start. In one of her videos, Jocelyn shared that she wasn’t always into makeup—until her skin began to change. She turned to tutorials, learned how to do her own makeup, kept experimenting with new techniques, and never stopped improving.

Today, she’s sharing that same knowledge with a growing audience, offering honest product reviews, useful beauty tips, and everything in between—standing alongside the very creators she once looked up to.

Vocal Coach Award – Top Beauty Educator or Trainer: Dr. Gaile Robredo Vitas

With so much noise online, it’s tough to find a truly reputable source for skincare advice. That’s exactly why Dr. Gaile Robredo Vitas deserves this recognition—her content makes dermatology feel understandable, empowering, and everyday-relevant.

She breaks down complex topics like lasers, injectables, and dermatological procedures into digestible, easy-to-follow videos, helping her audience become confident advocates for their own skin and beauty needs. With beauty procedures on the rise, Dr. Gaile has become a very important voice for those who want to learn more and possibly undergo the new trending treatment. As the Medical Director at dermHQ and a dermatologist at beautiqueMD, her content is always backed by science and made relatable by her warmth and sense of humor.

Iconic Artist Award: Jelly Eugenio

You’d be hard-pressed to find a bigger trendsetter this year than celebrity makeup artist Jelly Eugenio. His signature luminous looks have dominated social media, and 2025 saw him collaborating with major brands—including Vice Cosmetics, MAC Cosmetics, Sola, and more—to launch new products and lead makeup workshops. His Full Spectrum Makeup Masterclass, co-founded with fellow makeup artists Anthea Bueno and Mark Qua and now in its second year, also made waves last August and is the recipient of another The Beauty Edit Pop Award—as the Industry Event of the Year.

From content creators reviewing his products to aspiring MUAs recreating his signature looks, and even news outlets speculating about his next move, Jelly’s influence shows no signs of slowing down.

Crowd Favorite: Most Beloved Personality: Pau Guevarra

Behind every favorite influencer’s Instagram post is a skilled photographer meticulously working through their shot list, finding the perfect angle, and dedicating hours to editing to create a stunning image. That’s why Pau Guevarra is so beloved by event organizers, content creators, and guests alike. She makes getting photographed fun and effortless, giving the feeling of a friend snapping a candid shot. At the same time, she’s thorough, ensuring everyone at the event leaves with a memorable keepsake. And, of course, her photos are always gorgeous—truly worthy of your feed.

Headliner – Journalist of the Year: Marj Ramos-Clemente

In an era dominated by video content, it’s refreshing—and crucial—to have editorials that are thought-provoking, daring, and unapologetically relevant. That’s exactly what makes Marj Ramos-Clemente such an invaluable force at Preview.ph. As editor-in-chief, Marj isn’t afraid to be the voice the fashion industry—and its enthusiasts—need to hear.

Rising from editorial assistant in her 20s to the leader she is today, she has witnessed the industry’s evolution and its impact on the average Filipino. She was particularly lauded for her think piece on corruption revealed through recent flooding, highlighting how fashion’s displays of wealth can serve as political statements, whether people admit it or not. Marj’s fearlessness, candor, and incisive insight are qualities every journalist should aspire to emulate.

Beauty Idol – Achievement Award for Industry Contributions: Jacqe Yuengtian-Gutierrez

Nothing screams powerhouse quite like the CEO of not one, not two, but three beloved Filipino beauty brands. Jacqe Yuengtian-Gutierrez won this award by a landslide, and it’s easy to see why—her work and influence have been pivotal in shaping the entire Philippine beauty industry. She is the co-founder and CEO of Happy Skin and blk cosmetics, as well as skincare label Seoul White Korea. These brands have become pillars of Filipino beauty, transforming the way people think about and consume skincare and makeup.

When she first launched Happy Skin and blk cosmetics, local beauty was often equated with cheap or subpar products. Jacqe envisioned a world where Filipino beauty could compete on a global stage—and through her vision, leadership, and the hard work of her teams, Filipino beauty is now on the rise, earning recognition and respect like never before.

Beauty Creative of the Year: Joel Martin Andrade

Behind one of the Philippines’ coolest beauty brands is an even cooler Chief Creative Officer: Joel Martin Andrade. As the creative force shaping Issy’s brand vision, his direction has positioned the company as the beauty disruptor the industry didn’t know it needed. Under his guidance, Issy launched standout products like Solar Balms, Issy Eau De Parfums, and Creme Cheek Sticks, released alongside its collaboration with fashion brand Atomic World.

But Joel’s most notable achievement this year was leading Issy’s efforts to reduce waste. When production issues left the Pressed Velvet Blush Inserts cracked and crumbled, he and the Issy team made the bold decision to give them away with purchases at select in-store locations. The result? Fans lined up to get their hands on the “flawed” blushes, and Issy earned praise for its transparency, accountability, and creative problem-solving.

The Beauty Edit Pop Awards 2025 live ceremony was held last November 29 at Rockstar Greenhills, San Juan City.
