There are two things by which we judge our sunscreens—application and protection. This is a big winner in application for us. For a clear sunscreen, this applies without the overly silky and silicone-y feel common to many invisible and skin-priming sunscreen formulations, so this will appeal to those who have combination/ dry skin or those who prefer gel types of skincare (us!). It’s a great makeup base and feels like a moisturizer. The brand calls it “serum finish.” Expectedly, you need to wait a bit for it to set before applying anything over it. Aptly too, it has skincare ingredients that nourish as much as protect like peptides, niacinamide, vitamin E, and photoceramides.

Protection-wise, it has SPF50+ which is a great enough defense from UVB, the rays that cause sunburn. As for PA, or the measure by which it protects from UVA or the rays that cause skin aging, it has PA+++ which is rated “high UVA protection.” This is great enough for daily use; although we would prefer something with PA++++ for swimming and outdoor use.

Overall we think this is an ideal daily sunscreen that’s non-stinging, non-sticky, fragrance-free, and comfortable to use. A real steal at P595.
