In this edition of The Editor’s Room featuring L’Occitane, we gathered beauty enthusiasts at the luxe and cozy Tropicalia Room in Uma Nota, for an afternoon of in-depth beauty talks, focusing on skincare layers, anti-aging techniques, and the benefits of natural ingredients, particularly the powerful effects of L’Occitane’s Divine Youth Oil.
The L’Occitane team, led by brand manager Aprille Cabrera, talked bout the brand’s dedication to natural ingredients and sustainable practices, and introduced the Divine Youth Oil, highlighting its key ingredient, the Immortelle flower from Corsica, which is known for its exceptional longevity and anti-aging properties.
To better appreciate what the Divine Youth Oil can do, we had an immersive discussion with dermatologist Dr. Francesca Sy-Alvarado, who joined us to dive deeper on skin health. Her insights focused on the importance of maintaining a strong skin barrier and how natural ingredients like those found in L’Occitane products can aid in this. Dr. Sy-Alvarado explained the structure of the skin and discussed how oils and other natural components work to nourish and protect the skin at every layer.
Following the discussions, attendees were presented with a detailed demonstration on how to use L’Occitane’s Immortelle Divine collection, including the Overnight Reset Oil-in-Serum, Divine Youth Oil, and the Divine Cream. This session allowed everyone a chance to experience the texture and effects of the products firsthand, understanding how each product contributes to skin health and vitality.
Finally, the event concluded with a unique pressed flower art session, to symbolize preservation of beauty, mirroring the Immortelle flower’s qualities encapsulated in the L’Occitane products.
