In this edition of The Editor’s Room, we had the exciting opportunity to explore the latest collection of hair colors from Korean beauty brand mise en scène (pronounced meeh-zahn-sen), now featuring an innovative new formulation. True to their K-Beauty roots, these vibrant shades reflect the brand’s keen eye for what is new and fresh without leaving behind classic picks of the collection. At the official launch of Hello Bubble on December 11, the spotlight was on these bubbly, eye-catching colors—guaranteed to take your hair transformation to the next level!
Before its recent relaunch, the Hello Bubble line featured a selection of 14 shades, all leaning toward a natural color palette. But the original formula faced some challenges, notably a tendency for the dye to drip down after application. Fast forward to today, and mise en scène has made a striking comeback with four new playful shades, a primer (not bleach!), and an upgraded, no-drip formula. This evolution perfectly showcases the brand’s ability to stay in tune with market demands while keeping pace with the ever-changing beauty trends.
Building on the buzz around their revamped hair dye, mise en scène made waves by naming K-Pop girl group aespa their newest Hello Bubble ambassador. The relaunch introduced four stunning shades—Choco Brown, Ash Beige, Peri Violet, and Sahara Rose Pink—each inspired by the group’s bold and vibrant music videos. These striking colors are perfect for anyone looking to embrace a daring, head-turning look.
Given the excitement surrounding this comeback from Hello Bubble, it only made sense to match that energy of the product at the official launch held at LOOK At Me, SM Aura Premier. The event brought together an enthusiastic crowd of hair aficionados and K-Pop fans, making for a lively and insightful celebration. Brand representatives shared the latest updates from mise en scène while keeping the energy high with interactive games that had guests on their toes. Let’s just say we left the event with more than products in our hands!
In the end, the launch was nothing short of colorful and engaging—a memorable way to celebrate the bold new chapter for mise en scène. It was definitely a “Supernova”-worthy experience!
