Skincare, good company, and a whole lot of self-care—The Editor’s Room brought all three together for a refreshing morning that introduced the newly reformulated Ageless Concentrate from beloved and proudly Filipino brand, Pili Ani.
Set in an airy, welcoming space designed to soothe the senses—Garden Towers in Makati—the event brought together a vibrant mix of skincare lovers, beauty insiders, and wellness seekers. With thoughtfully curated experiences like a roller filling station, an affirmation corner, and a dreamy Ageless photobooth, the morning invited guests to slow down and reconnect—with themselves and with each other.
The New Ageless Concentrate
The star of the show, of course, proved worthy of the spotlight. Guests were treated to an exclusive first look at the updated formula of Pili Ani’s Ageless Concentrate, now enhanced with Vitamin C and phyto-retinol. The new blend offers boosted benefits like improved hydration, brightening, and smoothing—all while remaining gentle on the skin.
Hanna Felipe, Pili Ani’s Head of Brand and Strategy, walked guests through what makes the new formula different. The core ingredients remain: pili oil, rich in antioxidants and fatty acids that help protect and nourish skin, and elemi oil, known for its firming and soothing properties. “We’re the only brand in the Philippines that uses pili and elemi oils in all of our formulations—proudly Philippine-made,” Hanna shared.
Meanwhile, the additions of Vitamin C and phyto-retinol deliver a supercharged boost—helping brighten skin, reduce the look of fine lines, and support skin renewal. “We added Vitamin C—a single form of it, so it stays longer on the skin and it’s fast absorbing. And then we also added plant-based bio-retinol for those who are sensitive to retinol.” She adds, “These work together with our healthy oils, providing a natural lift to your skin. It’s something you can use daily, day and night.”
To help guests experience the product in action, facial and lymphatic therapist Rene McHugh Rodrigo led a calming lymphatic drainage massage masterclass. Using the Ageless Concentrate, she demonstrated easy techniques that reduce puffiness, improve circulation, and help skin look more refreshed.
Real Feedback, Real Results
Prior to the gathering, select guests were invited to try the Ageless Concentrate for two weeks. At the event, they shared their experiences—most described the formula as lightweight, non-greasy, and easy to layer, even under sunscreen and makeup. Many also noticed brighter skin, reduced dryness, and a smoother texture. One consistent observation? Skin looked noticeably more radiant, especially first thing in the morning. Another common highlight: it smelled really good.
Dr. Finny Evangelista, a dermatologist and one of the panelists, emphasized how the new formula is rich in antioxidants that are highly beneficial for skin health. “Vitamin C and vitamin A work synergistically because they’re both antioxidants that help fight free radicals,” she explained. “It’s actually one of the few products I’ve come across that combines both vitamin A and C.
