In this edition of The Editor’s Room featuring Rabanne, we entered a world where luxury and glamor are at their peak, seamlessly blending fashion and beauty in a bottle. Always one to look beyond the trends, the French luxury house stays true to its identity as it continues to introduce a fresh take on chic rebellion. In this case, we see them boldly capture and embrace the essence of the free-spirited with its fragrance line that has stood the test of time, Rabanne Million Gold Eau de Parfum Intense and Million Gold For Her.

Since its debut in 2008, the fashion house’s iconic scent, 1 Million by Rabanne, has solidified its unwavering confidence and fearless character through its masculine blend of mandarin, peppermint, and cinnamon. This persona echoes through the latest launch of the Million Gold Eau de Parfum Intense, where a sensual woody aroma collides with fresh notes of mandarin, warm cedarwood, and spicy sandalwood. It’s a new interpretation of modern masculinity that welcomes unexpected blends.

Rabanne further establishes this legacy with an intensely sensual and, by far, the most exhilarating scent in their women’s fragrance collection. An unwavering sense of femininity is celebrated in the scent’s combination of warm mineral musk, sparkling rose, and daring white flowers. Other than highlighting the power of femininity, the fragrance captured Rabanne’s DNA through its innovative blend of notes—a pivotal moment for the Maison as this new feminine signature comes to life as its first-ever Grand Floral scent. Housed in a bottle that exudes boldness and gold, Million Gold For Her transforms the world into your personal stage, dazzling with every spritz.

Guests immersed themselves in the Maison’s world of gold and luxury as entrepreneur, perfumer, and fragrance specialist Shale Albao explored the fragrances and shared her expert insights. In her own words, she highlighted how the two fragrances, each distinct in composition, reflect the Maison’s expertise: For Her embodies a delicate balance of masculine and feminine notes, while For Him carries a touch of flamboyance, paying homage to modern masculinity.

As mentioned, the Rabanne Million Gold and Million Gold For Her were crafted to merge fashion and beauty, and what better way to showcase this than through icons of fashion today? Gigi Hadid takes center stage for Million Gold For Her, while singer-songwriter and model Moses Sumney represents Million Gold Eau de Parfum Intense—together, they embody the essence of golden luxury in the modern era.

Likewise, everyone had their own celebrity moment as they had their portraits taken, against the stunning backdrop of Tropicalia in Uma Nota, Shangri-La at the Fort which was donned in gold. With each step, they experienced a runway-like entrance, greeted by a grand wall of gold featuring Rabanne’s iconic logo at the center. Elevating the chic atmosphere, the intimate gathering offered a custom-crafted drink, capturing the energy of Rabanne’s two signature scents. It truly was a million-dollar experience for the books. ‘Til the next!
