It’s a huge, huge box and its contents are oh-so-thoughtfully curated, so it can get pretty overwhelming—but in a good way. We understand you might need some notes on how to go about this wonderful present, so do read this manual carefully before use. This guide includes pre-, during, and post-unboxing tips, and how you can make the most of your beauty pabitin.
HANDLING & STORAGE
- Be prepared to haul the box from your gate or wherever delivery is dropped off at your door. While the box is huge, it’s actually lightweight and can be carried by a regular grown adult. Don’t worry!

- Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, prying eyes, and your pets who may or may not wreak havoc on the box!
INSIDE THE BOX
- A functional, real pabitin that you can use and re-use.
- 24 beautifully designed loot bags, each with one or more F-beauty products inside!
- A postcard you can mail!
WARNING
- Contents may make you extremely excited.
- May also cause distraction from responsibilities.
- Adult supervision is not required, but to unbox in good company is advisable if you prefer to have someone to share the joy with!

WHAT TO PREPARE BEFORE UNBOXING
- Make sure to take photos of the box.
- Have your phone charged and ready to document the unboxing.
- To double the fun, ask a friend, sibling, or your favorite child to unbox with you and take photos and videos together.
Note: Want to keep all the contents of the box to yourself? Don’t worry, we get it. Close all the windows. Lock the door. Make sure to unbox when you’re alone. Be sure to have an excuse ready when your family members ask you about the big, big box. Or better yet, unbox as you please and just tell everyone you’re keeping everything–you deserve it!
HOW TO EXAMINE THE CONTENTS—AND MAKE THE MOST OF IT, TOO
Make sure you’re prepared with tissues, makeup removers, and the like, in case you can’t help yourself and want to start swatching the products on the spot. Tissues will also come in handy when you feel overwhelmed with joy, unboxing all 24 bags of worthy F-beauty items! Crying is healthy, and happy tears are definitely encouraged!
Count down the days to Christmas by opening one bag a day (or two, or more). Alternatively, you can also open everything all at once. It’s really okay.
Highly recommended: Take photos or videos of the products, share them on social media, and tag @thebeautyedit.ph. When you post, you can also add a short review on what you think of the product–your friends will thank you!
A pro tip: If you’re learning about the brand or product for the first time, do look them up on Instagram, TikTok, or good ol’ Google. You’ll enjoy learning about the Filipino-led teams behind these products, the hard work that goes behind its production, and the inspiring stories that led to their making.

Another pro tip: Along the way, as you try and test the products, remember to bookmark or screenshot the ones you’d like to repurchase, so you have a ready list available of beauty buys the next time you go shopping.
THE AFTER PARTY: WHAT TO DO AFTER
The pabitin is functional and you can re-use it, for sure! If you intend to have the pabitin game at a party with grownups—and huge prizes are at stake!—make sure to remind everyone to refrain from pushing and shoving and to stay friends afterward. The pabitin grid can also be used as a frame to clip on polaroids, postcards, and other mementos. The possibilities for re-use are endless!
The paper bags are beautiful to use as gift bags. Just be sure to let your recipient know that the numbers don’t mean anything, e.g. 24 doesn’t mean she is ranked as 24th on your friend list.
The box can be used for your pet cats to play in, to store whatever needs storing, or for your kid to play with and imagine it as a spaceship, a time-traveling portal, or however else he or she pleases.
